Russian troops increased infantry activity in the Tauride direction. During the day, 55 military clashes took place in the operational zone, said the commander of the operational-strategic group of forces (OSGV) Tavria, Alexander Tarnavsky.
He mentioned that in total the enemy lost 440 personnel and nine military equipment. About a dozen invaders surrendered.
Enemy flight activity was low – five air strikes were recorded during the day. At night, the enemy threw KABs in the Donetsk region.
Tarnavsky added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold their defense in the direction of Avdeevsky and Maryinsky, where 25 and 11 attacks were repelled, respectively.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked three times in the areas southeast of Ugledar and west of Staromayorsky. And in Zaporozhye he tried 12 times to restore the lost position in the areas south of Rabotino and west of Verbovoy, but he did not succeed.
The commander emphasized that at the same time an offensive operation of the Defense Forces was conducted in the direction of Melitopol.
Earlier it was reported that Russian troops are trying to tighten the defense in the southern directions and continue to apply pressure with bombings using KAB.
