The investigative team conducted an inspection at the penitentiary institution where the MP was detained.
Law enforcement officials found no evidence of bodily harm to MP Alexander Dubinsky in the pre-trial detention center. Kyiv police reported this on December 3 following the results of an inspection.
It was noted that the Kiev police received a message from a lawyer that within two days his client, a representative of the people, who was previously detained by the SBU on suspicion of treason, was subjected to bodily harm while in a pre-trial detention center.
“The investigative and operational group of the Kiev police came to the penitentiary institution to clarify the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the inspection, the forensic medical examination did not confirm the information contained in the message,” the statement said.
At the same time, a message appeared on Dubinsky’s Telegram channel that the head of the pre-trial detention center allegedly decided to transfer the people’s representative to a solitary confinement cell with video surveillance.
It is also said that a forensic medical examination (examination) of him “was not conducted, because Dubinsky was not allowed to be released from the pre-trial detention center.”
We remind you that the day before the MP said that he was beaten in a pre-trial detention center in Kiev.
As reported Correspondent.net, On November 13, Dubinsky was suspected of treason. According to the investigation, he is part of a criminal organization formed by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian Federation, which is supposed to undermine the socio-political situation in Ukraine.
The next day, the court arrested him for two months.
