A woman died due to the earthquake in the Philippines

It has been mentioned that tremors with a magnitude of 7.4 were recorded at 22:37 Saturday (16:37 Kyiv time) at a depth of 25 km.

During the night, more than 600 aftershocks occurred. The strongest had a magnitude of 6.5, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The country’s authorities announced a tsunami warning and evacuations from coastal areas in several provinces. The threat has passed.

Due to the earthquake, some damage was seen in the houses. In the province of Davao del Norte, a woman died due to a falling wall.
