On the night of December 3, Russian troops sent 12 Shahed-type attack UAVs and an X-59 guided aircraft missile into the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was noted that the drones were launched from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region of Russia, and the X-59 from the airspace of the Belgorod region. They attacked in several waves, entering the Nikolaev region through the occupied Kherson region.
“It was in the Nikolaev region, in the area of responsibility of the air command South, that most of the Shahed were destroyed by air defense. Others were heading in the north-west direction and were shot down in the Starokonstantinov area in the Khmelnytsky region,” clarified of the military.
In total, ten Shahed-136/131 drones were destroyed as a result of combat operations. The X-59 guided missile also failed to reach its target.
