    .

On Friday, December 1, the Cabinet of Ministers instructed the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and security authorities to develop a procedure for allowing fans into the stands of stadiums in compliance with security conditions. The press service of the Ministry of Sports reported this.

It is noted that officials, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, security departments and regional military administrations, are developing an algorithm “that will make sporting events accessible and as safe as possible for spectators.” They promise to inform you additionally about the return of spectators to the stands.

As Minister of Sports Matvey Bidny noted, allowing spectators into the stands will help develop the sports industry and improve the financial condition of sports organizations. This will allow clubs and stadiums to be financially capable again.

Let us remind you that on November 9, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed an acting Minister of Youth and Sports. The ministerial position was taken by Matvey Bedny, who has been working as Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports since 2020.
