Since the beginning of this year, the wealth of the richest businessman in the Russian Federation has increased by $38.575 billion.
Most of the Russian oligarchs have been able to increase their wealth since the beginning of 2023, even under the conditions of the introduction of sanctions against the Russian Federation. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index wrote this on Friday, December 1.
As the publication notes, in total they filled their accounts with $38.575 billion.
The total ranking of 500 billionaires includes 25 Russians. And six Russians made it into the top hundred richest people in the world, ranking from 47th to 88th place. this:

Vladimir Potanin – 47th place;

Leonid Mikhelson – 52nd place;

Vagit Alekperov – 62nd place;

Vladimir Lisin – 72nd place;

Alisher Usmanov – 82nd place;

Alexey Mordashov – 88th place.
Vladimir Potanin, whose wealth as of December 1 was estimated at $30.7 billion, has increased it by $2.11 billion since the beginning of the year.
Leonid Mikhelson has a fortune of $27.3 billion and has increased it by $2.71 billion since the beginning of the year.
Vagit Alekperov, who is worth $24.5 billion, has increased it by $9.14 billion since the beginning of the year.
Vladimir Lisin, who is worth $22.9 billion, added $3.07 billion to it.
Alisher Usmanov, who is worth $20.3 billion, added $1.87 billion to it.
Alexey Mordashov, worth $19.3 billion, increased it by $618 million.
There are 19 Russian billionaires below the first hundred in the ranking. But, as the publication points out, things turned out well for them too. Only three of the 19 had their conditions reduced over the year:

Suleiman Kerimov (276th place) – his fortune decreased by $650 million per year. Overall – $8.34 billion

Viktor Vekselberg (351st place) – his fortune decreased by $44.1 million per year. Overall – $6.96 billion

Vyacheslav Kantor (413th place) – over the year, his fortune decreased by $277 million. Total – $6.09 billion.
The only Ukrainian businessman in the ranking, Rinat Akhmetov, took 490th place with a fortune of $5.32 billion. In 2023, Akhmetov’s fortune dropped by $15.2 million.
Russian billionaires Pyotr Aven and Mikhail Fridman called their billion-dollar investments in European countries a mistake.
