These electronic warfare equipment were recommended for codification and registration as standard equipment for further use by units of the Defense Forces. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk, stated this in a commentary to Army Inform.
According to him, the Ministry of Defense has approved an electronic warfare system for operation, which is used to combat all types of hostile UAVs and is capable of suppressing control signals and data transmission from satellite navigation GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou.
Also, these tools can create many false signals. In addition, the domestic complex is equipped with a passive detection and direction finding system for enemy drones.
Now, according to Gavrilyuk, codification is being carried out on a complex that will counteract Russian Lancet war munitions and a complex that will protect the military from enemy FPV drones.
Let us recall that specialists from the American Institute for the Study of War stated that the successful counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces south of Bakhmut in September 2023 was made possible thanks to Ukrainian electronic warfare and aerial reconnaissance systems over the enemy.
