The defenders of Ukraine are resolutely repelling enemy attacks. In the last 24 hours, 82 military clashes took place.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published operational information about the Russian invasion on Friday morning, December 1.
“In the past 24 hours, 82 military clashes took place. In general, the enemy launched 1 missile and 71 air strikes, carried out 80 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were casualties among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged. In the past 24 hours, the invaders carried out additional air strikes, using 19 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Of these, 15 were destroyed. In the last 24 hours, the invaders again attacked Ukraine with 2 guided missiles Kh-59 and 12 UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. The air defense forces and means destroyed 1 Kh-59 guided missile and 8 attack UAVs,” the General Staff said in its morning report.
It was reported that Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Ivanovka in the Kharkov region received air strikes; Toretsk, Novomikhailovka, Avdeevka, Donetsk region; Tyaginka, Krynki, Kherson region. More than 130 settlements in Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions came under artillery fire.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the enemy conducted offensive operations near Sinkovka, northeast of Petropavlovka, Kharkov region, and Stelmakhovka, Lugansk region. The defense forces repelled seven attacks.
In the Liman direction, our defenders repelled six enemy attacks in the Serebryansky forest areas of the Lugansk region and Torskoye, Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out offensive operations near Bogdanovka, Andreevka and Kleshchievka in the Donetsk region; Ukrainian soldiers repelled 24 attacks. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, causing losses to the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines.
In the direction of Avdeevka, the enemy does not abandon attempts to surround Avdeevka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defense, causing heavy losses to the invaders. The enemy’s offensive actions near Stepnoye, Novokalinovoye, Avdeevka, Tonenkoye, Severnoye, Pervomaiskoye, Donetsk region were unsuccessful. The defense forces repelled 20 attacks.
In the Maryinsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Marinka and Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region, and 10 Russian attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsky direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the direction of Zaporozhye, the enemy unsuccessfully tried 11 times to restore the lost position near Rabotino, Zaporozhye region. Defenders of Ukraine repulsed four attacks of invaders in the west of Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continued offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol, causing losses to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the direction of Kherson, Ukrainian soldiers held their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, engaged in counter-battery combat, and opened fire on the enemy’s rear.
In the past 24 hours, Defense Forces aircraft have carried out 10 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and another on an enemy anti-aircraft missile system.
The missile force units hit six areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, six anti-aircraft missile systems, two ammunition depots, a radar station and two enemy electronic warfare stations.
