On the morning of November 30, there was no shortage of electricity in the Ukrainian energy system, but it may arise in the afternoon due to low air temperatures and high consumption.

In such a situation, the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center does not plan to disconnect consumers, but will look for an opportunity to cover the deficit in the energy system. Chairman of the Board of NEC Ukrenergo Vladimir Kudritsky stated this on the air of Public.
We do not plan hourly outages of consumers, but predict that we will cope with the strength of the Ukrainian generation. If it is not enough, we will look and, perhaps, ask for emergency assistance from our neighbors in order to balance the energy system, noted Vladimir Kudrytsky and noted that Ukrenergo usually invites emergency assistance in Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Moldova.
He also said that in Odessa and the Odessa region, all 330 kV main lines that were damaged by bad weather have been restored.
As of 8:00, there is no power supply in 191 settlements. Most of them are in the Odessa region. The consequences of bad weather are being eliminated there. Today, Ukrenergo turned on all the damaged main lines with a voltage class of 330 kV that supply the city of Odessa and the Odessa region,” Kudrytsky said.
He also noted that the process of restoring the distribution networks of oblenergos, in which many damages were found, is also ongoing. Therefore, it takes some time for repair work to heal all consumers.
The head of Ukrenergo noted that it is now important to save electricity, especially during peak hours – from 9.00 to 11.00 and in the evening from 16.00 to 18.00.
