At a meeting on Wednesday, November 29, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv sent Lebed under 24-hour house arrest until January 29, 2024. Prosecutors asked to extend Pavel Lebed’s measure of restraint in the form of 24-hour house arrest and to impose on him the obligation to appear before the prosecutor and not communicate with witnesses. This was reported by Public.
It is noted that the lawyers asked for the judge’s recusal because he allegedly ignored the defense’s request and held the hearing during an air raid raid. However, the defense request was not granted.
The defendant himself stated that he was allegedly guarded by “12 cars” during his house arrest. Once again he stated that he “didn’t do any of the things that I’m being judged on today.”
Let us remind you that on October 20, the Security Service completed the investigation and sent to court an indictment against the former rector of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, involved in subversive activities against Ukraine. Pasha Mercedes faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
