The corresponding message today, November 29, was published on the company’s Facebook page.
Electricity consumption levels are growing rapidly. The Ukrenergo dispatch center predicts that consumption will remain at its maximum throughout the day, the report says.
The reasons for the increase in consumption are:
- worsening weather conditions;
- unfavorable conditions for generation from renewable sources;
- resumption of consumption in regions affected by bad weather.
We remind you that the simultaneous healing of a large number of consumers is a complex technical process that can lead to overload of power grids and lead to additional technical damage. Consume electricity sparingly. Today we ask you to rationally consume electricity throughout the day, Ukrenergo noted.
The company notes that the electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is enough for all consumers, however, if consumption continues to remain at its maximum, a deficit is possible in the energy system. This is due to the reduced operation of solar power plants.
