Since the beginning of the widespread war, it is possible to restore electricity to 9.5 million customers, DTEK said.
Over the past week, DTEK repair crews have restored power to 54,000 Ukrainians left without power due to Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The energy holding announced this on Tuesday, November 28.
According to the company, power grids and substations are damaged daily by Russian shelling, missiles and airstrikes. Experts resume light supplies as soon as possible. In the south of the Dnepropetrovsk region, electrical engineers immediately restored power to 7 thousand customers.
“Energy DTEK Networks, despite shelling, they continue to restore electricity grids with permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service. Since February 24, 2022, we have been able to restore power to 9.5 million families in the regions of Kyiv, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and the city of Kyiv,” said the CEO of DTEK Networks Alexander Fomenko.
According to him, in some communities near the combat zone, DTEK has restored electricity dozens of times and continues to do so.
We remind you that over the past 24 hours in Ukraine, electricity supplies have been restored to 288 thousand consumers who lost power due to bad weather.
It was also reported that DTEK specialists and Ukrainergo together arranged a high-voltage line in Donbass.
