In the village of Martonosha, Novoukrainsky district, Kirovograd region, two adults and a child died in a local lake. This was announced on Sunday, June 12, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to rescuers, for no apparent reason, the car entered the pond. Five people were in the car then. Three reached the surface, however, one of the female survivors died afterwards.
“The rescue service received a message that in the village of Martonosha of Novomirgorod MTG of the Novoukrainian region, a car sank in a local pond where there were five people. Three reached the surface, but one woman died. One another woman and a child remained in the sunken car, “rescuers said in a statement.
The age of the child and the woman, as well as their relationship were not reported.
Details of the incident are already being investigated by the police.
