We are talking about 565 items, in particular, ancient sculptures, Scythian and Sarmatian jewelry, Chinese lacquer boxes that are two thousand years old. The artifacts were removed from Crimea in early 2014, before Russia occupied the peninsula, for the exhibition “Crimea – a golden island in the Black Sea”, held at the Allard Pearson Museum in the Netherlands. When the exhibition ended, Crimea was already under occupation.
