The US Congress is about to pass additional funding for Israel and Ukraine.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should not be allowed to “march on Europe.” The Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson said this on Monday, November 27, during a trip to Florida, as quoted by Ukrinform.

So, he responded to reporters’ questions about Israel’s funding. He emphasized that, in addition to the Middle East, the financing of Ukraine remains a priority for Washington.

“Of course, we cannot allow Vladimir Putin to march on Europe. And we understand the need to provide assistance to Ukraine,” he said.

Donson said he feels “confident and optimistic” that Congress can pass additional funding for both Israel and Ukraine.

The vote on US President Joe Biden’s request for aid to Ukraine and Israel could take place on December 4.

The head of the House Intelligence Committee, Republican Mike Turner, said that new American aid to Ukraine and Israel will be difficult to accept before the end of the year.

We remind you that on November 20, the US Department of Defense announced the provision of additional assistance to Ukraine in the field of security and defense. The next military aid will be the 51st “tranche” of equipment for Ukraine, starting in August 2021.
