Christmas trees are planted in special “New Year” plantations, located in each region.
One meter of New Year’s tree costs Ukrainians about 135 UAH. The state enterprise Forests of Ukraine reported this on Monday, November 27, on Facebook.
It was noted that Christmas trees were sold at the same price a year ago.
“This year, prices for New Year’s trees will be the same as in 2022. On average, 1 m will cost 135 UAH. The price may vary depending on the region,” the message said.
As the company mentioned, Christmas trees are planted in New Year’s plantations, which are in every region, which means there should be no shortage of trees.
In the forest of Ukraine they reminded that when officially buying Christmas trees, Ukrainians pay taxes, which make up the budget of the community and the whole country.
The country’s main Christmas tree this year, according to tradition, will be installed on Sophia Square in Kyiv.
We remind you that hotels in the famous ski resort Bukovel are already 49% booked for New Year’s Eve, and slightly less booked for Christmas. In Odessa and Kyiv, hotels are booked at 2% for Christmas night, 8% and 1% for New Year’s Eve.
