Two bridges leading to Severodonetsk were destroyed by Russian troops. The third bridge was under the shell all day.
In Lisichansk, Lugansk region, a six -year -old child was killed as a result of shelling by Russians on Sunday, Luhansk OVA chief Serhiy Gaidai told the Telegram.
“The rashists were heavily stoning Lisichansk, now a six -year -old child has been killed by enemy fire,” Gaidai said.
The official also said that two bridges leading to Severodonetsk were destroyed by Russian troops. The third bridge was under the shell all day.
“It is old and critically damaged, trucks cannot move here – there is a high risk of falling. In case this overpass is damaged, the center of the region will be cut off,” said the chairman of the regional administration.
According to him, there is no evacuation from Severodonetsk, and the only way out of the city is to walk along the surviving bridge, but it is very dangerous.
“We are working on the possibility of evacuation from the center of the region with Irina Vereshchuk. We hope that an organized evacuation from the city will be possible, but for this we need to receive security guarantees,” Gaidai added.
Recall that Russia was gradually advancing on Severodonetsk, according to a British intelligence summary published by the British Ministry of Defense on June 12. The occupiers used their superiority in the balance of forces and artillery to gradually capture Severodonetsk territory and its environs.
