A Georgian citizen had two fingers on his hand ripped off by the ship’s door, Russian social networks reported.

A strong storm in the Black Sea caused one sailor to die and another to be swept away by his fingers. The Russian pro-government Telegram channel Mash reported this on Monday, November 27.

“The captain of the ship reported about the death of a crew member of Kavkaz 1, sailing under the flag of Malta in the Kerch Strait today around one o’clock in the morning… He died a few hours later,” the message said.

Before this, the man suffered a hip injury.

Due to bad weather, a sailor was also injured on the bulk carrier GAIA I. It is sailing under the flag of Panama in Taman harbor waters. A Georgian citizen had two fingers on his hand ripped off by the ship’s door. He was handed over to paramedics when the ship arrived in port.

We remind you that a strong storm has invaded the temporarily occupied Crimea; the trenches of the Russian invaders on the coast were washed away by sea water. Almost half a million residents of Crimea were left without electricity due to the storm.

As we wrote earlier, the body of a man who disappeared during a night storm was found in Crimea.
