Eight residents of the region were exposed to hypothermia, and five others were injured by fallen trees.
In the Odessa region, 13 people were injured as a result of bad weather. The said data was released by the State Emergency Service at 12:00 on Monday, November 27.
“In the Odessa region, eight people were exposed to hypothermia and five were injured as a result of falling trees,” the report said.
Across Ukraine, rescuers towed 1,083 vehicles and removed 148 trees. Traffic was blocked on 13 roads.
Currently, 1,844 settlements are without electricity. There are 1,518 freight vehicles in temporary parking lots. There are 1,215 rescuers and 330 pieces of equipment working on the ground.
As reported, in the Odessa region, rescuers had to use armored personnel carriers to eliminate the consequences of bad weather. In the morning, 78 breaks in the contact network of Odessa city electric transport were recorded.
A video was also released from the Odessa-Kyiv highway, where cars were trapped in the snow.
