It was learned that the 23-year-old girl suddenly lost consciousness before the performance and tragically lost her life on November 17. This was due to cardiac arrest during a heat wave, with a temperature that reportedly reached 59.3 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the show’s promoters prohibited fans from bringing their own food and water into the concert.
As a result of the tragedy, Swift postponed a concert in Rio, and organizers announced several changes to the concert program.
The singer returned to Brazil on Sunday, performing in Sao Paulo, where Machado’s family, with whom he was photographed, was in attendance.
They all met after the concert and took a group photo with the singer. Family and friends wore white T-shirts with the face of Anna Clara Benevides Machado.
