From now on, you can travel to Germany for any purpose, in particular tourism, without certificates of vaccination against coronavirus disease, recovery from it or tests.
At the same time, for arrivals from China, including German citizens, entry restrictions will continue to apply, as Chinese authorities have also refused to ease their restrictions.
Also, the requirement of vaccination, testing or certificate of recovery from COVID -19 will continue to apply for countries where dangerous coronavirus variants are spreading – but so far there is not a single country on this list.
The restrictions were temporarily lifted, until August 31. However, the German authorities did not exclude that in case the incident escalated, they could be reinstated.
It will be recalled that Turkey has canceled from June 1 the PCR tests for entry into the country at all border crossings.
