On the last Sunday of November, Russians “celebrate Mother’s Day” and try to involve the local population in VOT events.
In the occupied south and east of Ukraine, the administrations of the occupiers are actively enforcing the Kremlin’s order to impose the Russian calendar of “holidays.” The Center for National Resistance reported this on Sunday, November 26.
“The occupiers try as much as possible to use content-neutral events to “pacify” the population and create an environment of “normal life,” because, as they note in their “congratulations,” these are holidays “no one can remain indifferent,” it said in the message.
The Center states that, despite the fact that the greeting is as neutral as possible without mentioning military actions, they announce concerts where, as a rule, their organizers campaign for “Putin’s Russia,” and in the content of such speeches “women are exclusively assigned the work of childbirth, educate “real men” and evaluate “state affairs” at a minimum.”
CNS notes that the Ukrainians have been fighting the Russian invaders for 21 months and have had the opportunity to see “what Russian mothers are raising.”
“To date, almost 325 thousand occupiers have died or received severe injuries, many more received moderate and mild injuries. This is consistent with the available data on the population of Arkhangelsk or Belgorod. But we do not receive any significant statements from their mothers that they did not see it. On the contrary, many of them sent their sons to commit crimes on the territory of Ukraine,” the Center added.
Earlier, intelligence reported that the Russian Federation was holding 11 thousand Ukrainian children in “re-education camps.”
