Heavy snowfalls in the Odessa region led to accidents and traffic stops on some highways.

The police banned the movement of all types of transport on public roads of national importance: M-15 Odessa – Reni (Bucharest city) and M-28 Odessa – Yuzhnoye – M-14 (Odessa bypass). Approximate traffic ban time is 12 hours. Information on lifting the ban and resuming vehicle traffic will be provided additionally. This was reported to the patrol police.
The national police reported that several accidents have now occurred on the highways of the Odessa region, as a result of which traffic is difficult. Two casualties are known.
It is noted that a truck loaded with grain overturned on the Odessa-Reni highway near the village of Krasnaya Kosa. On the same highway near the village of Broska, cars got stuck on the rise, resulting in an increased traffic jam.
And near the village of Limanskoye, the Reni OTG was unable to pass an ambulance with a patient. The police took the man to the hospital in a police car.
Bad weather led to the fact that near the village of Novokamenka, Izmail district, a Varna-Kyiv passenger bus with 22 passengers slid into a ditch.
Due to a snowstorm in the Odessa region, 116 settlements were without power due to a snowstorm.
Forecasters reported that snow, wet snow accumulation, sleet, and strong wind gusts of up to 30 m/s are forecast in the Odessa region.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported that bad weather is approaching Ukraine. Almost the entire territory will be covered by rain, snow and strong winds. In particular, in the Kyiv region on November 27, a blizzard, snow drifts and icy roads are predicted.
