The spacecraft was launched into the target orbit and taken over for control, according to Moscow.

On Saturday night, the aggressor country Russia launched a Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with a military satellite. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this on Sunday, November 26.

It is indicated that the rocket was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region.

At the estimated time, the spacecraft was launched into the target orbit and accepted for the control of the ground-based assets of the space forces of the Aerospace Forces. A stable telemetry connection is established and maintained with the spacecraft. The spacecraft’s onboard systems are operating normally, the report said.

Let’s remember that in March of this year, the Russians also launched a military satellite from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. It was launched into orbit by the Soyuz-2.1a rocket.

It has also been reported that Russia is ready to strike US commercial satellites. The American spacecraft could be a “legitimate target” of Moscow for helping Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry believes.

A Russian military satellite with the Z emblem has burned up in orbit.
