The Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format met for its 17th meeting today, November 22.

At this meeting, new packages of support for the Ukrainian defense forces were adopted. President Vladimir Zelensky spoke about the results of this meeting in his traditional evening address published on social networks.
According to him, a decision was made to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They relate to ammunition, electronic warfare and drones. A coalition for the development of Ukrainian air defense was also created, and France and Germany became the leaders of its organization.
I thank every country that is participating in this effort to enable our cities and villages to be more protected from Russian attacks. Not everything can be told publicly yet, but the Ukrainian air shield is becoming stronger literally every month, the head of state noted.
The President also added that he expects a report from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on the results of the Ramstein meeting in the near future.
Let us recall that at the Ramstein meeting, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin called on the allies to strengthen Ukrainian air defense, taking into account the risks of massive Russian attacks in the winter.
