The defense forces received 3 million rounds of 7.62×51 mm ammunition, remote detonation systems and winter equipment. Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anusauskas said Vilnius’ support for Kyiv remains steadfast and Lithuania is responding to Ukraine’s key needs and priorities by shaping aid packages. This was reported by the defense department of the Baltic country.
By providing ammunition, remote detonation systems and equipment for harsh winter conditions, we are significantly strengthening Ukraine’s resistance to Russian aggression, he emphasized.
Let us recall that in September the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense transferred sets of radar equipment to Ukraine. This assistance was intended to provide maritime surveillance and develop maritime spatial awareness capabilities.
