In the Odessa region, on November 21, the air defense destroyed the Mohajer-6 reconnaissance and attack drone. He was landed on the way to the region. This was reported by the South air command.
There are not many such UAVs in service with the army of the aggressor country, because in 2022 the occupiers purchased a maximum of 30 such drones from Iran. The American media wrote last fall about Moscow’s acquisition of the Mujahideen, and in September the Defense Forces already shot down the first such drone. Several more “landings” followed, and the last one occurred in September of this year.
As you know, Mohajer-6 is designed for reconnaissance and attacks. The UAV can be armed with four guided missiles and can also carry equipment weighing up to 100 kg. The Mujahid’s flight range is up to 200 km.
The Ukrainian military was able to capture one Mohajer-6 along with Ghaem-5 missiles. Many parts from Europe and the USA were found in the drone.
Let us remind you that on the night of November 21, the Russians attacked Ukraine from the south-east with ten Shahed-type attack drones. The enemy also fired four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Donetsk direction and one Iskander-K ground-based cruise missile from the Dzhankoy area. Air defense destroyed nine Shaheds and Iskander-Ks.
