Today, November 21, in the morning, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit.

In the Ukrainian capital, he is scheduled to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov and President Vladimir Zelensky, Deutsche Welle reports.
Also included in the program of Pistorius’s visit is the laying of wreaths on Independence Square and a visit to the Ukrainian military training center.
This is Pistorius’s second visit to Kyiv since taking office as defense minister in January 2023. The previous time he was in Ukraine was in February.
