The businessman said that all the accusations against him are false. He emphasized that he “wishes only the best for humanity.”
The American billionaire, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk responded to the scandal caused by his support for an anti-Semitic comment on the social network X (formerly Twitter). Businessman wrote a post in which he called all accusations of anti-Semitism false.
“In the past week, hundreds of false stories have appeared in the media claiming that I am an anti-Semite. Nothing could be further from the truth,” Musk said.
The owner of the social network also added that he “only wants the best for humanity and a prosperous and exciting future for everyone.”
Let’s remember that last week Musk commented on the publication of one of the users X, who wrote that “Jewish communities promote the same dialectical hatred of white people that they demand to stop themselves.” “You are really telling the truth,” the entrepreneur wrote in a comment to this publication.
The White House condemned Musk’s remarks, calling them “abhorrent.” A coalition of more than 150 rabbis called on Apple, Disney, Amazon, Oracle and other companies to stop advertising on the social network in response to the billionaire’s tweets.
Apple said that due to its owner’s offensive statements, Musk suspended all of its advertising campaigns on the X social network.
It was previously reported that X’s value dropped 55% in the year following Musk’s purchase.
