In the past 24 hours, the Russian invaders carried out offensive operations in four directions, and 46 military clashes took place.

In the last 24 hours, 46 military clashes took place on the front. The defense forces held their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in its morning report on Monday, November 20.

At the direction of Kupyansky, Russian troops conducted offensive operations in the areas of Sinkovka, east of Petropavlovka and Ivanovka in the Kharkov region, where the Defense Forces repelled seven attacks. In the direction of Liman, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.

At the direction of Bakhmut, the invaders carried out attack operations in the areas of Kleshchievka and Andreevka of the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, causing losses to the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines.

In the direction of Avdeevka, the Russian invaders do not abandon their attempts to cordon off Avdeevka. The soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces firmly held the defense, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. Offensive actions of the enemy in the east of Novokalinovye, Novobakhmutovka, Severny and Avdeevka in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, where the Defense Forces repelled 12 attacks.

In the Maryinsky direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Pobeda of the Donetsk region, during which the Ukrainian military repelled 16 attacks. In the direction of Shakhtarsky, the invaders carried out offensive operations near Staromayorsky, Donetsk region, but without success. In the direction of Zaporozhye, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to carry out an offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol, which caused losses to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and exhausted the enemy along the entire front line.

In the direction of Kherson, the Defense Forces held their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, continued to conduct counter-battery combat, and opened fire on the rear of the enemy.

During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out two strikes on areas where Russian troops were concentrated. The missile force unit hit two areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, as well as three enemy munitions.

It was noted that over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has carried out one missile and 17 air strikes, carried out 94 attacks from multiple rocket-launching systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas place

The Russian invaders also carried out air strikes in Ukraine, using attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. As a result of the fighting, 15 out of 20 attack drones were destroyed by air defense forces and means.
