The world must signal to the Russian Federation that it will not tire of defending freedom and international order, the head of state said.
President Vladimir Zelensky called on the international community to give Russia a signal that the world will not tire of helping Ukraine. The head of state announced this in an evening speech on Sunday, November 19.
“We continue to prepare for the planned international events this week. The activity will be important – new communication with our partners. The key now is guarantees that Ukraine’s support will also be sufficient next year. I thank the all the countries that consider it in the same way, like us. We need this signal towards Russia: whatever they do, the world will not tire of defending freedom and international order,” said the president .
Zelensky specifically thanked the Netherlands, which provided more than 2 billion euros for the next year, especially to support Ukraine’s security.
“Thank you, Mark (Rutte – ed.), Mr. Prime Minister, and the entire Dutch society. This is a timely sign. It is important to feel that the defense of freedom is based on reliable and sincere support,” the president said.
We remind you that the former coordinator of the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, said that the US authorities have used up almost all the funds allocated to help Ukraine. “American funds for Ukraine have been used up by 96%,” he said.
And the foreign ministers of the EU countries did not agree on the allocation of a tranche of 500 million euros from the European Peace Fund for military aid to Ukraine. The reason is Hungary.
