Moscow said the city attempted to attack a drone for the second time in 24 hours. They said he was shot. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on the evening of Sunday, November 19, on Telegram.
According to him, a drone aimed at the capital was intercepted in the urban district of Elektrostal, Moscow region.
“According to preliminary data, there was no damage or casualties in the area where the debris fell. Emergency service specialists are working at the scene,” the Moscow mayor said.
It is worth noting that the city of Elektrostal is located 60 kilometers from the capital of Russia.
Meanwhile, a video of the aftermath of the crash was published online. You can see in them that the fragments fall on the track. Some of them are already burning on the road.
Earlier on November 19, Sobyanin also reported about a UAV attack, allegedly shot down on the Gorkovskoye Highway near Bogorodskoye.
