It is noted that special line 102 received a message from employees of a utility company located here that an unknown person had broken the glass of the front door of the administrative building and was frightening the citizens who came to the reception with his behavior.
The police who arrived at the scene of the incident detained the offender and found out that the attacker had cut the hand of a security guard who was trying to calm him down with a piece of glass. In addition, the attacker was also injured by broken glass.
“The offender turned out to be a 39-year-old native of the Sumy region, who had previously been prosecuted for property crimes, in particular, he spent eight years of his life in prison due to committing a robbery,” the police note.
He was informed of suspicion of committing an offense under Part 1 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – hooliganism. The sanction of the article provides for up to five years of restriction of freedom. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
