On Friday, August 17, at about 11:20 pm, journalists were working near the Tandoor restaurant in the village of Kozin. There, the film crew noticed, including former high-ranking employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office. There were a lot of cars outside the restaurant itself. Ukrayinska Pravda reported this on August 18.
It is noted that the security of one of the restaurant visitors began to interfere with the work of journalists after noticing the filming. The bodyguards began to shine the light of the SUV into the distance and blocked the cars of the media workers.
Mikhail Tkach himself said that one of the guards not only struck the camera, but also hit him himself.
I got out of the car and said that I was a journalist for Ukrainskaya Pravda. The guards started blocking, and one came up and hit the cell, and also hit me,” he said.
