Poland should continue to create a 300,000-strong army, form six divisions and implement contracts for the supply of weapons, the minister believes.
Despite the Kremlin’s displeasure, Warsaw will not refuse to increase its army and place new divisions near the Belarusian border. On Tuesday, November 14, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak wrote in his Twitter.
“Putin accepts only strong arguments. Only a clear signal that the Polish Army will be able to independently protect its territory will stop Russia from further expansion to the west,” Blaszczak wrote.
He emphasized that Poland must continue to create a 300,000-strong army, form six divisions and implement contracts for the supply of weapons.
“We must not deviate from the path of creating the strongest land army in Europe,” said Blaszczak.
Poland has entered into an agreement with Britain worth more than £4 billion for the supply of air defense equipment.
We remind you that recently Poland has actively purchased various military equipment to strengthen the country’s defense. Blaszczak said that the Polish army would be the strongest land army in Europe. In addition, the Polish army may be the largest in Europe.
