The Russians should expect a combined attack, where they will try to hit generation and transmission facilities.
The Russians are expecting “firm” frost on the territory of Ukraine to launch a massive attack on the energy infrastructure. This was announced on Tuesday, November 14, by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko on the air of an informational telethon.
He emphasized that the invaders have not stopped attacking the energy sector, but they are not as numerous as last fall and winter.
Galushchenko predicts that the Russians will use a combined attack, where they will try to hit both generation and transmission facilities.
“It seems to me that it is still important for them that the minus is stable. That is, if the temperature drops to minus and then rises to plus, then they will expect such stable frosts,” said the minister.
The minister added that low temperatures make it difficult to repair damaged energy networks.
It was previously reported that in recent weeks the Russian Federation has attacked energy facilities 60 times with various types of weapons.
Last year, hackers shut down some of Ukraine’s substations
