Irina Farion remains in the position of teacher in the Ukrainian language department until at least November 23.
The university commission, called by the rectorate of the National University of Lviv Polytechnic, decided that Irina Farion will remain in the position of teacher in the Ukrainian language department at least until November 23, reports RBC-Ukraine.
According to a representative of the protesting students, who expressed the position of the leadership of Lviv Polytechnic, there is “no legal or legal basis” for the dismissal of Farion.
“On the 23rd, a commission will meet and a decision will be made. We need to consult lawyers, because everyone should be equal before the law,” the university administration said.
At the same time, the students plan to repeat their protest if the teacher is not removed from his position.
As reported, today the students of Lviv Polytechnic held a rally outside the main building of the university, demanding the dismissal of Irina Farion due to a series of scandals associated with her.
We remind you that on the air of the Rendezvous program with Yanina Sokolova, Farion criticized the Russian-speaking Ukrainian military, including those from the Third Assault Brigade (created on the basis of the Azov volunteer formation).
In addition, he published a letter from a Crimean student in which he supported Ukraine, after which the man was detained by Russian special services and forced to apologize.
