Ukrainian armed forces attacked the maritime and port infrastructure of the Zatoka shipyard located in Kerch.
The small Project 22800 Karakurt Askold rocket carrier, which was damaged the previous day on the territory of the Zaliv shipyard in the temporarily occupied Kerch, will not be able to perform combat duty in the near future. At the same time, Ukraine does not yet have complete information about the extent of its damage. Natalya Gumenyuk, head of OK South’s joint press center, announced this on Sunday, November 5, during a national telethon.
“We say that the strike was powerful, successful, completely legal, because it is the power that ensures the effectiveness of the enemy’s battle. We still do not have complete information about how damaged the modern launch vehicle is,” the spokesman said.
He added that judging by the photos published online, the damage is quite extensive, and they will not allow the Caliber carrier to join the duty in the near future.
In turn, the public organization Truth Hounds published a satellite photo of a ship in the temporarily occupied Kerch, hit by a Ukrainian missile.

The Russian Ministry of Defense admitted that on Saturday, November 4, as a result of a missile attack on the occupied Kerch, a ship located in a shipyard was damaged.
We remind you that an air raid alert has been announced in the annexed Crimea. The Russians put up a smoke screen, explosions were heard in Sevastopol Bay. The occupation authorities announced a successful air defense operation. Later on social networks it was reported that the strike hit the shipyard and the small missile ship Askold. Subsequently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed a successful strike on the Zaliv shipyard in the city of Kerch. And the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk, thanked the tactical aviation pilots for the successful strikes. “May another watercraft follow the Moskva!” he wrote.
