In Ukraine, 282 settlements in eight regions were cut off due to bad weather. The State Emergency Service reported this in connection with data from Ukrenergo on Sunday, November 5.
“On the territory of the country, as a result of worsening weather conditions (wind gusts), according to Ukrenergo, 282 settlements in eight regions lost power (Kiev – 77, Chernihiv – 77, Odessa – 51, Sumy – 27 , Poltava – 21, Khmelnytsky – 13, Dnepropetrovsk – 10 and Zhytomyr – 6),” the message said.
It is indicated that regional power supply teams are already involved in restoring power supply.
We remind you that weather forecasters are warning about worsening weather conditions this weekend. Rain and wind gusts of up to 20 m/s are expected in Ukraine. On Saturday, there was a power outage due to bad weather.
