This was announced by the head of the International Transport Association of Ukraine Igor Overko on Facebook.
Polish carriers announced that they are postponing the start of the blockade of freight transport moving in the direction of three checkpoints from November 3 to November 6. The co-chairman of the blockade, the organizer of the protest near the Krakovets-Korchewa checkpoint, Tomasz Borkowski, spoke about this, wrote Overko.
According to him, the blockade of traffic will begin on Monday at 13:00 Kyiv time. The organizers of the protest have already received official permission from local authorities to hold it until January 3, 2024. The blockade of freight transport will operate at three checkpoints: Yagodin-Dorohusk, Krakovets-Korcheva, Rava-Ruska-Hrebene.
The organizers of the protests demand a return to the practice of issuing permits for Ukrainian cargo carriers and a reduction in their number. Also, Polish carriers want their empty trucks returning from Ukraine to be able to cross the border without queuing and waiting for 10-12 days.
