The Geodynamic Institute of Athens clarified that the epicenter of the magnitude 5.2 earthquake was located 6 kilometers east of the village of Prokopi on the island of Euboea, 85 kilometers north of Athens. Seven minutes later, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 occurred at the same epicenter.
