According to Shmygal, the parties discussed the introduction of reforms and their implementation by Kiev and noted progress in this direction.
The IMF is preparing a mission for the second revision of the extended financing program, which will attract the next tranche of assistance in the amount of approximately $900 million, Szmigal said.
During a conversation with Kammer, the head of government touched upon the topic of financing Ukraine’s state budget deficit, supporting small and medium-sized businesses and measures to grow the economy.
Let us recall that on March 31, the IMF approved a four-year extended financing program for Ukraine in the amount of $15.6 billion. The program is part of a $115 billion international support package. At the same time, Kyiv has committed to implementing 19 structural lighthouses to continue funding.
