The company’s press service reported this on November 2.
The arbitration court ordered the Russian Federation to pay the Ukrainian company damages in the amount of $267 million, including interest and legal costs as of the date of the decision. Interest will continue to accrue until the entire amount of losses is paid in full, the statement said.
The arbitral award is enforceable in accordance with the New York Convention of 1958. DTEK plans to immediately initiate the process of recognition and admission to execution of the decision in the territory of those states where Russian assets are located.
Let us remind you that the trial of the lawsuit of DTEK Krymenergo against Russia has continued since 2017.
