According to the General Staff, the previous day, November 1, 57 military clashes took place. The enemy launched five missiles and 75 air strikes, carried out 56 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas of Ukraine. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, there were civilian deaths and injuries, and destruction and damage to private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure was recorded.
Petropavlovka, Kupyansk, Kurilovka, Stepnaya Novoselovka, Cherneshchina in the Kharkov region received air strikes; Serebryansky forestry, Lugansk region; Verkhnekamennoye, Vyemka, Spornoye, Vesyoloye, Ivanovskoye, Kalinovoe, Novoaleksandrovka, Semyonovka, Orlovka, Lastochkino, Avdeevka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region; Novoselovka, Novodanilovka, Rabotino, Zaporozhye region; Novokairy, Chervony Mayak, Novoberislav, Berislav, Kazatskoye, Lvov, Ivanovka, Kherson region.
More than 100 settlements in the regions of Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Nikolaev came under enemy artillery fire.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of the settlements of Sinkovka, Ivanovka in the Kharkov region and Stelmakhovka in the Luhansk region. There, our Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 attacks.
In the direction of Liman, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the invaders unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position near Khromovo, Kleshchievka and Andreevka. Ukrainian fighters repelled 15 enemy attacks.
The invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the southern region of Donetsk. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines.
In the direction of Avdeevka, the enemy, with the support of aviation, did not abandon the attempts to surround Avdeevka, but the Ukrainian defenders firmly held the defense, causing heavy losses to the invaders. In particular, the offensive actions of the Russians in the Northern and Pervomaisky districts of the Donetsk region were unsuccessful; seven enemy attacks were repulsed there.
In the Maryinsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk region. The defenders of Ukraine repelled more than 20 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Staromayorsky, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporozhye direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol.
In the direction of Kherson, our soldiers are engaged in counter-battery fighting, causing heavy losses in the rear of the enemy.
In the past 24 hours, Defense Forces aircraft have carried out 9 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Missile force units hit 5 radar stations, 2 ammunition depots, an area where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, 2 control points, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems and 11 artillery weapons of the enemy.
