The choice of people managed to illegally smuggle the brother of his common-law wife abroad, the security service said.
Law enforcement officials are conducting a series of searches on the accomplices of the deputy of the town, who have organized a procedure for those who evade. The SBU reported this on Wednesday, November 1.
“The representative of the people organized an illegal mechanism and used a controlled public organization to bring the “necessary people” into the system through it Method as volunteers… Thus, he was able to illegally smuggle his common-law wife’s brother out of the country,” the report said.
The intelligence service established that part of the documents necessary for the escape of “clients” outside Ukraine were hidden by the people’s deputy together with his former assistant, a deputy of the Kiev Regional Council of the 8th convocation, as well as his close relatives.
Searches are currently ongoing at the workplaces and residences of those involved in the scheme. Among them is the office of a public organization, where the reception of the representative of the people is located.
Criminal proceedings were initiated under the article on illegal migration of people across the state border of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The defendants face up to 7 years in prison.
The SBU did not name the suspected representative of the people. But this morning the media reported about the searches of deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
We remind you that on August 9, Dubinsky became aware of the suspicion that he had given false information to obtain permission to travel abroad. On August 10, the court released him on personal recognizance for two months and wore an electronic bracelet.
