The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has received a denunciation on the basis of which it will investigate the blogger Khasbulla Magomedov, known as Khasbik, for involvement in organizing the pogroms at the airport of Makhachkala (Dagestan). The Mash telegram channel reported this on Tuesday, October 31.
In particular, Khasbik will be investigated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for anti-Semitism and calls for disorder.
The Russian, who wrote a statement to the Prosecutor General’s Office, was outraged by two specific posts by Hasbik: the first contained a photo with the words “we are against Jewish refugees” and called not to rent of apartments to refugees, do not bring them. in vehicles and not to serve them in establishments. The second was a condemnation of the administration of the Flamingo Hotel in Khasavyurt, where allegedly there were many Jews in the rooms. According to the applicant, such messages could provoke people to attack the airport in Makhachkala.
Another “suspect” of organizing the riot, widely discussed in the Russian media, is the deputy of the Russian State Duma, Ilya Ponomarev, who fled from Russia to Ukraine. In particular, the telegram channel Morning of Dagestan, which is associated with Ponomarev, was accused of organizing the riot by disseminating appeals. And through him, Russia accuses Ukraine, the United States and the “world behind the scenes.”
Ponomarev himself, on the Youtube channel The breakfast show, said that at one time he actually had something to do with the creation of the Morning of Dagestan channel, but he completely renounced the rights to it and gave up control in November 2022, about whether where there is a corresponding message in the channel.
We remind you that on Sunday, October 29, hundreds of people entered the Makhachkala airport due to the arrival of a Red Wings flight from Tel Aviv, where refugees from Israel allegedly arrived in Dagestan. In search of Jews, mobs seized the airport building, the runway and completely blocked air traffic. As a result of the pogrom, dozens of injured Dagestanis were recorded; the Jews were not to be found.
After that, the Russian media spread a message about an emergency speech by President Vladimir Putin, in which, as expected by analysts and sources, an official condemnation of the Jewish pogroms will be announced. However, the old dictator began the usual record of blaming the Ukrainians for all the troubles, this time dragging a “spider” who “is trying to destabilize the whole planet with its web,” adding that “It should defend Palestine with arms in hand. The reason why the situation is more attractive for Russian TV viewers is the fact that all the federal media initially silenced the events in Dagestan, that is, first Putin’s speech based on the events was broadcast, and only then – stories about the events themselves.
