The director of Google’s representative office in Ukraine has resigned from his position

Sholomko himself and the company’s press service confirmed the fact of the dismissal, but the reason why Sholomko left his position is unknown.

Google Ukraine director Dmitry Sholomko has resigned from the position he has held for the past 17 years. This was reported by ain.ua in connection with the company’s press service.

“We confirm that Dmitry Sholomko is no longer leading our office in Ukraine. Our commitment to Ukraine remains a priority, and we will begin a search for a new leader,” Google said.

Google Ukraine now employs about 100 people, the company’s revenue is estimated at $300-450 million per year.

We remind you that the Rada said that they collected more than 10 billion in “Google tax” from Ukrainians.

It has also been reported that an important function in Google Maps has been returned to Ukrainians.
