Oleksandr Usyk’s fight against Tyson Fury will probably not take place on December 23, 2023, but will take place in early 2024.

This was stated by Fury’s promoter Frank Warren in a commentary to BBC Sport. According to Warren, Fury will need more time to recover after the fight against Francis Ngannou.
The deadline for the fight is March 2, 2024; until this period, the Riyadh Season continues in Saudi Arabia, within which the fight is planned.
On the night of March 29, Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision: 96-93 and 95-94 in favor of Tyson, and 95-94 according to one of the judges in favor of Francis.
At the same time, the Briton was knocked down in the third round of this 10-round fight.
The main attention after the fight went not to the happy Ngannou, who, it seems, could not believe in his debut in professional boxing, but to the pair of Fury and Alexander Usik.
After a short sterdown right in the ring, the boxers and their representatives confirmed that the unification fight between the heavyweight champions would take place. It will definitely take place in Saudi Arabia.
Usyk has clearly stated that he is ready to fight on December 23, but both Tyson Fury and his promoter Frank Warren have avoided mentioning the date.
