The UN General Assembly, by 120 votes, adopted a resolution on the protection of civilians in the war of Hamas against Israel and the need for a “humanitarian truce.”
Hamas welcomed the UN General Assembly resolution and called for its immediate implementation. The Times of Israel reported this on Saturday, October 28, citing the terrorists’ statement.
“Hamas accepts the UN resolution on a cease-fire in Gaza and calls for its immediate implementation, including the import of fuel and humanitarian aid for civilians,” the media quoted a statement from the terrorist group as saying.
Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan criticized the General Assembly resolution and said the UN is no longer legitimate or relevant.
The UN General Assembly on Friday, October 27, by 120 votes, adopted a resolution on the protection of civilians in the war of Hamas against Israel and the need for a “humanitarian truce.”
14 countries voted against the resolution (including Israel and the United States), 45 abstained (including Ukraine).
Let’s remember that the previous Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that TsAGAL is preparing for a ground invasion in Gaza and its deadlines have been accepted.
