The Ukrainian Defense Forces recently received these UAVs from the Slovenian drone manufacturer C-Astral, but the transfer was not advertised. The Ukrainian military has been using these drones “for some time now.” This was stated by drone operator Bramor from C-Astral at the GSOF symposium, Defense News reports.
We have some communication channels with military personnel who use them to receive feedback and make improvements accordingly, he noted.
It is now unknown how many drones the Armed Forces of Ukraine received, but the transfer “occurred relatively recently.”
Belin drones are an aircraft-type drone without weapons, which is primarily intended for reconnaissance and surveillance, as well as for escorting convoys. These UAVs are launched from a catapult and can operate in the air for three hours at a distance of 40 km via line of sight.
Let us recall that in Ukraine they created the ST1 demining drone, equipped with an inductor and sensors. They allow you to fly around interference at low altitude and a powerful microcomputer that processes data and transmits it to sappers in real time.
